International Green Week a big success for HAS Den Bosch

The International Green Week in Berlin was a big success for HAS Den Bosch University of Applied Sciences. At the invitation of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, HAS Den Bosch participated for the first time in the Holland Pavillion, one of the highlights of the fair. Between 20-29 January 2012 students, staff and lecturers presented the latest technology in the field of plant cultivation without sunlight and informed the German fair visitors about the study programmes offered by HAS Den Bosch.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation was very pleased with the participation of HAS Den Bosch and the innovative content presented in the booth. Also the Dutch State Secretary Henk Bleker and Secretary General Chris Buijink and the German State Secretary Robert Kloos visited the booth and listened attentively to the explanation about the new cultivation technology.
The International Green Week is the largest consumer fair for the agri-food sector in the world and attracts more than 400.000 visitors each year. Next year the Netherlands will once again be the official partner country of the Green Week. HAS Den Bosch is sure to attend the International Green Week again in 2012 - hopefully, as requested by the Dutch Embassy in Berlin, in an even more prominent spot in the Holland Pavillion.
