Traineeships are a mandatory part of the study programmes of all students at HAS Den Bosch and ensure that all students have gained practical experience in the industry before they graduate. Since several years, at least one of these traineeships needs to take place outside the Netherlands. This policy ensures that almost 100% of all students of HAS Den Bosch have relevant  international experience upon graduation.

More and more students use their traineeship abroad as an opportunity to get involved in sustainable development projects.   In order to support these initiatives, HAS Den Bosch offer a special scholarship, the Anton Vermeer Internship Fund for International Cooperation.

In their final year, the students of HAS Den Bosch complete a thesis or final project, which is usually a company assignment, procured directly from the industry. The project is executed under the professional supervision of the consultants of HAS KennisTransfer, a partner of HAS Den Bosch University of Applied Sciences. HAS KennisTransfer also provides training for professionals.
